Yes, you can combine energy gels with other nutrition products during exercise, but it's recommended to test out new products in training to allow your body to get used to them in training. Depending on the intensity and duration, typically you would need to consume 30-60g of carbohydrate per hour, which can be a combination of our Energy Gel and other carbohydrate-rich sports products (i.e., gels, drinks, sachets). Consuming gels with concentrated sports drinks can lead to overconsumption of sugars, if consumed above the 30-60g per hour guidance, especially if your gut has not been ’trained’ to absorb greater quantities of carbohydrate per hour of exercise. It's also crucial to balance carbohydrate intake with electrolytes and fluids.
